I realized as I went to bed last night that I made several errors in the day. I wore something similar in size and function to the waspies, even with a legit corset liner, without seasoning myself, with inadequate sleep, didn’t drink enough, and then drank and energy drink. When I took the Jellibend off yesterday, I got a headache, but also felt swollen and I got tinnitus and had trouble concentrating. It was all signs of high blood pressure, but it wasn’t high when I checked.

This morning I weighed in at 152.4lbs, then put the Jellibody over an undershirt, then the mesh waspie over that. My systolic started at 135, then shot to 147 with the cinch, then went back to 122 when I took it all off. I still have tinnitus an hour later and a slight headache. I put the corsets and Jellibends in the attic storage bin again. I didn’t want to scare my friend away from corseting, because I still want to and like it, if not for what are now unpleasant side effects.

It makes me wonder if I was tightlacing this whole time? Maybe I wasn’t doing it to the Internet’s definition, but for my body it was. I scheduled and then canceled an appointment to get a diagnosis for my headaches, brain fog, hot ears, etc. I’m pretty sure I need to stop drinking Celcius, sleep better, stay hydrated, and do yoga. Sometime this Summer I should do my 5 year physical, get blood work, and see how much squishing my organs maybe messed up my endocrine system.
