Applied at 10:25, after some errands this morning. Cinched to 31.25", weigh 158.4lb. An on looker might assume that I measure 31.25 before I tie it off, but I don’t. It just happens to be there every time lately.

I bought and started reading Solaced last night. Neat book so far. Makes me wonder what a custom corset would fit like with the stories of people upgrading in there. Maybe I’ll resume thecorset.blog with Google Ads. Work is looking less stable than usual lately.

I just paused in the mirror to really look for a second. What I compared myself to was the Nest doorbell camera videos where I always seemed to be slumped over like a cave man. Both my back and shoulders were forward. Without thought, this corset has me standing up, and I’m not pointing my shoulders back, they just are back.

Every day, I put this corset on and wonder how to talk about it with Wife. It would be easiest if I stopped wearing it and tossed it. Never bring it up. Never find out what she thinks. Yesterday, she showed me a picture of my brother, with his face modified in some way and thinning, long hair. He looks dumb. I figure somewhere in Wife’s mind she has some small worry that I have that same brain damage. Really, I don’t want her to worry. My back doesn’t hurt, and I have a pretty constant reminder to eat less. I’ve written my curiosity about what 3 months might look like, but I’ve just as much taken a day-at-a-time attitude. I could not lace it up any morning. Just stop. Each time I decided it was “working.” Whatever that means. Need words still.

Removed 6:17 for game night. Have blue toes for all the guests to see I guess. Don’t care about some of them.

Drive with corset to the bank, grocery store, pool and the library. The seat was uncomfortable. Need to try the van to if that is different. Its different than when I sit in a regular chair. I feel like my organs are tucked under my front ribs now, though. I for sure have some contour right now under there.

I put the corset in the case for the weekend. The timing won’t work for bike team Saturday and garage cleaning Sunday. Noticed the laces are fraying. Maybe need to find some time to try the “tougher” white laces.
