Cinched mesh waspie to 30.5" at 9am. I forgot the feel of this one at the waist tape. Realized yesterday maybe I should cut-out all the privacy panels in the back. The one on the waspie seems to especially get hung up in the paracord, and… it’s mesh. There’s no privacy, but it would pad the lace imprints for a bit…

Removed at 3pm. Sister-in-law is having a marriage jolt and I don’t need to add to it with a corseted hug. The interior padding on the mesh waspie leaves every mark defined. The paracord should probably go back to lace now that I rubbed out some of the eyelet burs. They left a deep mark when I tucked the laces around. The bottom of the waist tape goes through the middle of my belly button. The measurement instructions for the Libby describe the waist tape line as 1 inch above the belly button, which maybe the tape touches, but doesn’t centrally intersect. Maybe that’s OK, given my rib avoidance? It’d be a tweak, if anything.
