Weigh in 155.2lbs. Applied @ 10:00 to 30.75". That extra 1/4 inch pinches the ribs a bit. Giving ia a moment to see if it settles in. Still cinching, tying, then measuring. Put it on the low side to bend over my butt in the back. Finished Solaced last night and looked for other corsets with a concave style that don’t go into big boned hourglass shapes and didn’t really see another option in Lucy’s corset database. Looks like my next switch would be a Orchard 26" n the same style, maybe a waspie from them, too? Other than that would have to get custom, but I’m not even sure yet what that order would look like, what to ask for. Weight goal first, unless I close this corset before I get there.

11:00 and the rib pinch went away.

12:30 and it feels like a tight hug. It was warm to meet the arborist outside, but not so much to take me want to take it off. If it is something Wife will yield for, I’d quite expect to keep doing this for many more months. Curious how it might act as a blanket in the winter.

I looked at the fit in the mirror and saw what appears to be a tear forming in the seam. Will need to inspect closer when I take it off. This was something I read about but thought I was immune to, for some reason. Guess not.

Removed @ 3:20. Yes, there is a steam that’s coming apart. Don’t know how long it’s been that way. The inner seam of that spot looks ok, but the next seam over is where the waist tape stops, and that is stretched/running, so lost some support to protect the outer one next to it. Maybe did the damage when I did the closure attempt? or could have been today. Not sure.

Maybe should talk to Wife about the expense before ordering a 26" replacement? I suspect there are a few more hours left in this one, but what when it fails? Is it all over? Or double down? I bet even if she goes with it, she’ll be annoyed about getting a more expensive steel boned one vs a latex wrap from Amazon, one with the model of a competitive body builder.
