Was camping yesterday. It rained all day. Today I unpacked, showered and started another seasoning session with the mesh waspie. I re-laced with some 3-strand, 425 paracord, then cinched to 30.75" at 2:30-ish PM, 157.2lbs. I ate a filling meal every time yeterday, and this morning. I’d assumed that the mesh waspie would fit exactly the same as the original mesh waspie, but it feels different. Other than mesh, it looks the same.

I had to use the shaft of a little screwdriver to smooth-out some burs on the lace holes. I didn’t really want to go through a return process. The burs sort of explain maybe some of the problems I had lacing the ribbon lace. Now I have a spare ribbon and enough paracord to do at least one more corset. Nervous about starting a memoir, that I’ll start and stop again.

Removed after 2 hours, but it was plenty comfy to keep going. Tucking the paracord around front left a belly imprint, even as 3-strand over a liner.
