This waspie is so much easier with paracord that’s a different color than black. I should sew where to pull when tightened it to 29.5" at 10:20 this morning, 153 lbs. As usual, I didn’t measure the waist until after I tied it off, so 29.5" is actually a surprise to me, versus the 31" or so I was doing with the 28". I could swear that the darts on this one are more severe, but I checked the order last night and it says modern curve.

Removed it at 1:20 and could see from the waist tape (internal on this one) that I had a good inch or more too low. That means it will grabs ribs to fit higher.
