A new 26" waspie came in today. I should have had this all along? I cinched it to 30.5" at 2:30, and am going to pickup Daughter with it.

I only had it on for about 20 min before I took it off while driving. I got it in my mind that the wierd seating of the car, plus 30.5" cinch, might damage it. I’d re-laced it from the shoelaces to the double-faced nylon ribbon. The while while, it seemed like the eyelets on the back were rough and that I would fray them with continued use.

I tried to cinch it back on when I got home, but it still seemed to resist. I took the ribbon out and replaced it with silver paracord. Now I see the laces (and paracord) rub the cotton by the bunny ears. Washing the single black liner, will try seasoning again tomorrow. It does look and feel like the severity of the waspie is closer to a romantic curve, than the “modern” I’d been doing with the 28" corset. Will check it out in the morning.
