I ordered a 26" mesh waspie today. Then I put the old waspie on over my shirt. The shirt is my liner today. I also tied a bow in the back instead of tucking the laces around front. Cinched to 31", 156.5lbs. Food has been plentiful and making it in to my belly since I did the fasting on the July camp. Even with scale variability, I think I’ve un-done some or all of what I accomplished on the camp week.
I did some research a few nights back, because I think I hurt myself doing the second cinch on August 4. I’ve never really done the second cinch and days later thought it was such a good idea to keep it up. What I found researching was a bunch of blogs and “science” from people who make claims that sound all theoretical to me. It didn’t seem liek stuff that was written from their actual expsure or first-person experience. I concluded I should write a memoir about my corseting, but I feel like I’ve been doing it too inconsistently to be a “real” voice. Also, so am I to write an authoritative memoir? Impostor syndrome for sure.
Removed waspie at 1pm. I had a couple few notes:
- Wearing the corset on the outside is certainly a statement. I saw myself in the bathroom mirror and decided it was a sort of formal thing to do that, that requires outfit coordination, which I hadn’t done.
- I was also concerned that my thing polyester athletic shirt would sweat thru the corset and soil it quicker.
- Also, doing house chorse, I felt like I would put more grime and beat it up more while splashing to do dishes or take down the trash.
